Thomas Adam: Business Law, Real Estate & Bankruptcy
Thomas Adam earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance at University of Maryland at College Park and Florida State University. After graduation, Mr. Adam joined Merrill Lynch’s Jacksonville, Florida office, where he acquired FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law. Post law school, Mr. Adam has focused his practice in general civil litigation. He has significant experience in commercial litigation matters; including, breach of contract actions, real estate litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, shareholder actions, intellectual property, employment law, restrictive covenants, business disputes and construction litigation. Mr. Adam has experience handling personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, civil rights, and probate matters.
Melissa Riska: Family Law & Criminal
Melissa Riska is an associate with the Adam Law Group, P.A., and she practices primarily in family law and criminal law. Ms. Riska attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude and received the Family Law Certificate. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated Cum Laude. Ms. Riska is an effective and thoughtful advocate for her clients and is committed to providing personal and reliable service and advice. She provides effective representation to her clients and takes the time to work closely with each individual client to understand their unique objectives. With a compassionate, hands-on, and active approach to all of her cases, she works diligently toward securing the best possible result for her clients.
